We all get old

It was Matt's birthday yesterday. He had a good day. Me and the kids spent most the day making dad's cake. It doesn't look that good from this side but from the other side it looked really good. It was an ice cream cake since he doesn't really like cake but LOVES ice cream. I had fun making it and I think it turned out really good. Happy Birthday Honey.
PS I guess I call Matt Honey a lot because when Ash plays house she asks Jake to be her "Honey". I think it is pretty cute.

Jake update

Jake got worse and then much better I took him in one more time on Monday and they were able to tell me what he had. I wish I could remember the whole name but it was something that sounded German or something. It is an Auto immune condition and should last about 3 weeks. He is doing much better and is not in as much pain. This one is a pic when his eyes started to swell.

What is this

So Jake last week told me that his legs were hurting. They were swollen and he was having a hard time walking. I took him to the Doctor . They did some blood work. The Dr. thought that it was some antibody something or other. Well he then got a rash and his back started swelling. Well to make a long story short after two trips to the Doctor three vials of blood and a strep test we really don't know what is going on. Now his head is starting to swell and looks a little like the the creatures on Avatar. I am hopeful because his legs look a little better but........ I don't know what to do.

Jake's cousin were here and made him a "bow and arrow shooter" He is having a lot of fun with it.

Pocket friend

I love this girl. I love all my sisters but this is the only one that is younger than me. I would take her everywhere with me when I was still at home. Sometimes even go on dates with me. I finally had someone I could boss around. she was such a good friend I use to tell her that if I could I would put her in my pocket and take her EVERYWHERE. Well years have passed and she just got married. It was a special treat to have her and Chase come and spend Ten days in Nashville. I loved every second.

Very late Valentines day post.

I have let myself get very backed up on the old blog so I will update the next couple of days. My little sis and her hubby came to visit. They were here for Valentines day, it was a Sunday. We thought we would try to make a nice dinner for our Valentines. We had steak and potatoes. I do love my big valentine and the three little ones too.
