Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

Yesterday was Jake's First day in primary. I was a little nervous because Jake is a little shy in large groups and sometimes wont participate. But I think that he did rather well. Just a couple of tears. He came home with a crown that said I am a child of God and was so happy. We decided to celebrate. We asked him what he wanted to eat and he said "lets go to the donut place" Because it was Sunday the donut den would have to wait, but we went home and made one huge donut(aka A bunt cake). Jake cracked the eggs and greased the pan. He only used enough butter to grease 12 pans but he liked doing it. We had some friends come over and ate and let the kids run wild. When he woke up this morning I asked him what he dreamed about and he said " I got to crack eggs and make a cake". I love that boy.

He did indeed do a great job in Primary yesterday! We have such adorable new Sunbeams in Primary! (Oh, I know I'm biased since Caleb is in the class too but can you blame me?)

So sweet... He and Wyatt are only a month apart aren't they. Such a fun age, I love it! Gavin's outgrown the cute stage, he wants to be more of a big boy so I am glad Wyatt is around. Ü

I teach the Sunbeams in our ward and I love it! It is so fun to get to know these sweet kids and they say the funniest things! It is amazing how much they already know about the gospel and they are really the ones teaching me! Jacob looks so sweet...I would love to have him in my sunbeams class!

CONGRATS JAKE!!! Kaitlyn went to primary for the first time too. When I went to get her she said, "Dad can I go to just one more class please?" I wish we'd have celebrated :)

Julie, we'd love to have you come over!!! Let me know for sure and I'll make it a surprise for Cindy. (Of course there is a small chance that she'll check or blog and see your comment but that's a chance I'll take). I believe we'll be home all weekend, just let me know.
