a little bit of rash

Living in Tn has so many perks when it come to home and Gardening. I have had my first garden this year and loved it. I love going outside to get organic fresh tomatoes, peppers and basil when ever I needed or wanted. I have loved not having a sprinkling system and my grass still grows( for the most part). And that I have had spontaneous beautiful plants and vines growing in my front yard. It was beautiful to have vines growing up the side of the house. Until one day someone told me that it might be Poison Ivy. Great, I have water and nourished a poison ivy plant in my front yard for a year. I had my doubts about it being poison ivy and thought it was a creeping jenny or something, but in the name of safety, I thought I would rip it out this week end. Now that I am covered in very itchy rash all over my body and on my face. I guess she was right.

OH dear! Julie I'm so sorry...I have never gotten poison Ivy before, and I'm sorry! Well you better go to the Doctor and watch out for the beautiful greenery you may have growing in your yard.

I'm surprised you didn't look up poison ivy to compare first. Maybe I think that way just 'cause I love looking up info on the computer. I'm sorry about the rash. NO FUN!

Next time call me. I can identify poison ivy a mile a way. I used to get it so bad, I had to get special shots to keep it from getting out of control. I could walk by it and get it, not kidding.
Thanks for the compliments last night. Keep checking back, and I'll have more stuff up there. The family one can be found on the Van Horn links on their blog. I try not to put it out there too much, because I put the shop address out at the kids school and stuff.

So Sorry about the rash! That is no fun! I think it's wonderful things grow there. As you know Vegas is a challenge. I do miss things that grow and are edible.
