St Patty's day

I know this post is a little late but that is how the next handful of post will be. Better late than never. This was our little St. Patrick's day . We woke and and got right into our green. Than we ate green eggs and had friends come over to go on a treasure hunt. The kids loved it.

They each had shamrock wands

This was our center piece for the last couple days I thought that it was well suited.

eye patch

So Little Sis has a lazy eye. I knew that this was the case for a long time. I thought that I would wait until she was a little older before I took her to the doctor. I had the same thing when I was a little girl, So I have passed on some bad genetics. She will wear the eye patch for the next 3 months and then he will check on her progress. If she doesn't improve he thought surgery would be the best approach. I still think that she is the cutest thing on two legs, or any legs for that matter. When she walks around with that thing on her eye and says "eye patch" pointing to her eye with a smile makes me feel better.

One More Mizukawa

I haven't posted in a while (if you haven't noticed). I haven't been feeling very well. There was that feeling of guilt, that if I could hardly take care of my kids I couldn't really blog. As weeks go by, I am feeling better and better. It's good to be back for most of the day. We are having another baby! I am super excited. It is always fun to have an ultrasound and see that little peanut move. I have much I need to update so hopefully I will get on top of that.

My Boys

Jake has a very hard time going to sleep. (He didn't get that from Matt. Matt could fall a sleep anywhere in under 3 seconds. Sometime I worry about him at the hospital for such long hours.) Jake has been sick the last couple of days. So Matt thought he would help him get to sleep one night. I went to go find them and they where in the exact same position sleeping, arm up and everything. I couldn't help but get the camera.

Ice skating with the young women

We have one young women who is an ice skater. We have been trying to go ice skating with the girls since I started in YW a year and 7 months ago. We finally made it happen. The girls had a blast. In the last 20 min. I was getting a little overly confident and started going as fast as I could. Soon I found myself skidding across the ice on my side. Don't worry I'm OK just a little bruised but mostly embarrassed.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

Yesterday was Jake's First day in primary. I was a little nervous because Jake is a little shy in large groups and sometimes wont participate. But I think that he did rather well. Just a couple of tears. He came home with a crown that said I am a child of God and was so happy. We decided to celebrate. We asked him what he wanted to eat and he said "lets go to the donut place" Because it was Sunday the donut den would have to wait, but we went home and made one huge donut(aka A bunt cake). Jake cracked the eggs and greased the pan. He only used enough butter to grease 12 pans but he liked doing it. We had some friends come over and ate and let the kids run wild. When he woke up this morning I asked him what he dreamed about and he said " I got to crack eggs and make a cake". I love that boy.
