Pocket friend

I love this girl. I love all my sisters but this is the only one that is younger than me. I would take her everywhere with me when I was still at home. Sometimes even go on dates with me. I finally had someone I could boss around. she was such a good friend I use to tell her that if I could I would put her in my pocket and take her EVERYWHERE. Well years have passed and she just got married. It was a special treat to have her and Chase come and spend Ten days in Nashville. I loved every second.

Very late Valentines day post.

I have let myself get very backed up on the old blog so I will update the next couple of days. My little sis and her hubby came to visit. They were here for Valentines day, it was a Sunday. We thought we would try to make a nice dinner for our Valentines. We had steak and potatoes. I do love my big valentine and the three little ones too.

snow

I loved growing up with a snowy winter. Utah has the greatest winters. Since moving away from Utah, first to Nevada and now Nashville ,I have miss the snow. Nashville gets cold but just doesn't get the snow I love. This is not the first time I have said this on the blog. This year I took the kids outside mid December and just wished for a little white. We even got the sled out and because of this hence the Christmas card that never made it to the mail box ( Next year for sure).


Here is Nashville last week. When the kids woke up to a winter wonderland I knew we had to spend some time in it. Matt was at the hospital so I have to venture out with all the kids. we bundled up and I took the kids, infant carrier and all, on a sleigh ride. They loved it. My Neighbor saw us from the upstairs window of her house and decided to take a couple photos of the event.

It was crazy. School, church, meetings, and parties all cancelled due to the snow. I don't think Nashville has a snow plow in the whole city, well maybe one. As the locals where in awe I was right at home. I loved every minuet. We spent the rest of the day and following days building snow men, sledding and drinking hot chocolate. I think Jake and Ash loved it as much as me I found at least five zip lock bags of snow in the freezer. Needless to say it might have been a good thing that I didn't get my Christmas card sent out after all.

Party with the Babysitter

We had some good friends come into town. We got a babysitter to watch the kidlets so that we could have a date night and go to the temple. My friends two kids and our two oldest must have had the time of their lives. when we got home this is how we found Jake. He is not one to fall asleep in random places but he must have been really, really, really tired.
PS if you can't tell, he is curled up on a chair.

These cheeks are only going to get bigger

This is her little four month old face. I can't even tell you how I love these cheeks, and her cute rolly-polly legs are to die for.
