four years ago I got this

Four years ago today Matt asked me to marry him. It is easy to remember because it only comes around every four years. I don't know who remembers this ring. I wanted turquoise in my ring and My sweet boyfriend was trying to please. Luckily he changed it and the jeweler made the mistake of not changing the form and I got this. You could imagine what I thought when I saw him slip it onto my finger. The turquoise looked like plastic circles glued on the ring. But I wore it anyways for about two days before I got my other ring. It has been a wonderful four years. Two kid, Two homes, lots of school but even more fun. I love you Matt!

Missing Home

I am missing my Utah winters. For most of you, you probably can't wait until spring, But I am missing the snow!! I think that Jake knows how I feel. I would love to go sledding or skiing or make snowmen or just play in the snow with the kids. So when we got a snow storm that lasted maybe an hour where the snow suck and didn't melt into slush we made the most of it! I hope I can visit Utah in the winter next year.

Father Like Son

This is a suit that I got from Matt's mom. All five of her boys wore it and now Jake. I put is on him and took his picture outside. It was so cold Jake kept saying "I cold" so we had to move the photo shoot inside. Don't mind the white sleves hanging out. Do you love the book that he is reading?

I told him to throw the jacket over his should and he did. I was having way to much fun with it.

So today was my first time to teach a small preschool of 2-3 year olds. We had a lot of fun but I was tired after two hours. We read books played button button who has the button and ate bananas, and about 100 other games that I thought would work with the letter B. Jake really liked it. I don't know if he learned anything new but he liked to play the games and have friends over.

Finger Update. They are healing and looking better everyday.
Me and Matt should be on Dance war. We won a trip to Chicogo at the Ritz-Carlton airfare paid and 2night for rippin it up on the dance floor. Sorry the pic isn't very good but it's the only one we had. YOu should see Matts moves.
We had pic-nic with the Kids for a Saturday activity Let the kids play in the dirt by a lake in Joleton. Don't ask where that is I don't really know but we found it.
