Transformers, more than meets the eye.

Jake and his friend, Peter, are so fun to watch play. Peter has gotten Jake into Transformers and brings them over to play. Jake said that transformers are his favorite. They have a lot of fun together. They even can sing the theme song. Peter knows it better but Jake is learning fast. It brings me back to when I was a kid; I would stay up really late on Friday and would wake up crazy early to watch cartoons. Transformers was a boy cartoon but I watched it anyway.

WhAT A wONderfUL DaY

Thanks so much for all the Birthday wishes and the fun. I love you all. Birthdays are the best. I had such a wonderful day. I went for a run and the swimming with friends and my kids. Matt even "asked" me on a date. He picked me up with flowers and everything at the front door. He even had a babysitter arranged. You are best husband. After a romantic yet tasteful dinner, Matt surprised me with a bunch of friends at our house for cake. Thanks so much for coming. It really was so nice to celebrate with you all. Matt I love you

Home sweet Home

SO I am coming home next month for a little while. I hope to see everyone I can. Love you all

Rock On!

Me, Matt, the kids and some friends went rock climbing on Saturday. We hadn't gone since we moved to Nashville. It felt good to get back on the rock. I led one but it was really easy and Matt( who at one time was climbing 12a and bs) jumped on an 11b, is was a little shaky. Kidding, you know I love ya babe..........safety first. The kids were really good considering it was hot and humid. Both the kids wanted to climb too. We should get them a full body harness and see how they do. Can't wait to go again.

So here is my hair. I was wanting to wash and do it before I posted a pic of my three day non washed hair on the internet but what the heck. Matt likes it I am still trying to decide. I did like the lady that cut it. She did a really good job. The first cut was fourteen inches and then she took a little more off. I will take a better pic when it is done to see the full effect

Sweet Ride

So our car has been having some problems with the check engine light. So while it has been in the shop we have been cruising around in this, it is the acura's loaner car. My car is old this is a 2009 loaded car. I am going to hate to give it back. I am trying to put as many miles on it as poss. I don't feel bad either because this is our fifth time bringing it in for the same problem. I get this car for another couple days. Road trip anyone?

one year down

Matt is finished with his first year. Every year they have a big dinner to say "goodbye" to the chiefs and "hello" to the new guys. This means Matt is not the bottom of the totem pole yahoo! here we are before we went to the dinner.
